Students from INSEEC U. schools are mobilizing for the planet during an inter-campus Clean Walk that took place on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
The Clean Walk? A competition between students from our different campuses (Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, Chambéry, Monaco) to track down and collect the waste that litters the streets of their city!
To participate in the ecological effort, they tracked down and collected the waste that littered the streets of their city. A concrete operation in favor of the preservation of the environment marked this year by the resilience and commitment of our students, mobilized by small teams in the exceptional conditions of a health crisis. This citizen action not only allows us to raise awareness of the problem of waste everywhere on our territories but also to promote the interest of the circular economy alongside our partner in selective sorting and recycling ELISE.
With nearly 48 kilos of waste collected, the Chambéry campus won the Trophy for Best Campus Collector. A trophy made entirely with recycled material scraps after student projects by the FabLab of ECE, our engineering school. For recyclable waste alone (excluding ordinary industrial waste such as household refuse), the Trophy of Honor for the best Campus Recycler was awarded to the Lyon team with 13.5 kilos.
Congratulations to all our students for their participation!
