From June 16 to 19, 2021, 1,000 students from the 12 schools of the INSEEC U. group have the privilege of participating in VivaTechnology, the global meeting place for startups and innovation in Paris. They support their fellow entrepreneurs fromECE, engineering school, who have the opportunity to present one of their startup to the thousands of expected visitors.
A real innovation playground, VivaTech offers the opportunity to discover the latest technologies in various fields: fintech, health, transport, AI, green tech. The startup WISP – an AI solution for geolocation and data collection to help communities to improve urban traffic flow and reduce carbon footprint – led by three students Pierre Philbert (Information Systems and Big Data major), Timothée Colas-des-francs (Embedded Systems major) and Pierre Miroite, (Connected Objects, Networks and Services major) – has been selected to participate in the Next Startupper Challenge of VivaTech, an inter-school competition, on Saturday June 19th at 10am.
More than 100 entrepreneurial projects in 2020 at ECE
Renowned for its startup and entrepreneurial pathways,ECE, a generalist & high-tech engineering school, located close to the Eiffel Tower, and in Lyon, has paved the way to 235 profitable companies.
Thanks to its innovative project-oriented pedagogy, to the coaching, or to the transverse association Genius Campus Eiffel, ECE accompanies its entrepreneurial students by allowing them to be incubated even before the end of their studies.
The sharing of experiences does the rest, as evidenced by the consulting sessions of young entrepreneurs such as Axel Sani, founder of the branding agency Studio Elias .
There are many examples of growing startups born at ECE: Solinum (an association that puts digital technology at the service of the most underprivileged), or Wyes (connected glasses).
ESCE startups among the 100 startups to invest in
ESCE International Business School offers its students an innovative entrepreneurship program with an international vocation. The latter can follow an “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” specialization.
Its Career Center offers students numerous International Business Days where they can get in touch with companies from all sectors and of all sizes.
The ESCE incubator has supported many successful startups that were born there, or that were created by young graduates of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation specialization, and that have been distinguished in the “Challenges Ranking of 100 Startups to invest in” in 2020 and 2021:

Among the 30,000 students at INSEEC U. schools who already have an entrepreneurial spirit, Camille Lopez, a student at theInternational University of Monaco (IUM)which notably won the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge 2021, the Yachting Special Award and the Sustainable Award The Mark Challenge organized by the International University of Monaco, thanks to its project HY-Plug (creation of a network of hydrogen and green electricity charging stations).
