With the acquisition ofDataScientest, a school founded in 2017 and specializing in data science training for both professionals and individuals, OMNES Education aims to make this 15th school in the group, the cornerstone of its strategy on online education and to strengthen its training offer on Data, Cyber and Dev professions in order to respond to companies’ strong skills shortages on these key professions.
With this cooperation, OMNES Education aims to jointly develop a complete range of online and work-study programs on these topics, drawing on both DataScientest ‘s pedagogical and technological expertise and the know-how of its schools, notably the ECE engineering school.
Proud of its 5 years of experience, DataScientest is Europe’s leading provider of training in the Data professions. Today, more than 8,000 learners have benefited from its curricula, which combine subjects ranging from Business Intelligence and Data Science to Data Engineering, Cloud Computing and DevOps. Certified by the Université Panthéon Sorbonne and the Ecole des Mines Paris Tech, these courses total over 2,000 hours of hands-on training. Its hybrid synchronous and asynchronous format combines motivation and flexibility. Users benefit from a training platform entirely designed and created by DataScientest experts.
“We want to continue DataScientest’s spectacular development to make it a leader in training for Data, Cyber and Dev professions. Faced with severe shortages in these key skills, DataScientest has succeeded in developing excellent training courses offering its learners high levels of employability on graduation. This acquisition will also be an opportunity to go even further in the hybridization of skills within OMNES Education schools, enabling all our students to train in these professions of the future”, says Mathias EMMERICH, Executive Chairman of OMNES Education.
OMNES Education is also determined to accelerate the strong growth of DataScientest in Europe – in Germany and Spain – thanks in particular to our local presence.
“We’re convinced that joining forces with OMNES Education, by integrating our pedagogical and technological expertise within a global group, will enable us to meet the challenges of the tech industry in the years to come, both in France and internationally”, says Yoel Tordjman, CEO and co-founder of DataScientest.
The merger will also boost DataScientest ‘s international development, by offering its programs in French-speaking Africa, in partnership with our local schools. Last but not least, the merger will accelerate DataScientest ‘s development in continuing education, thanks to significant commercial synergies, notably our network of over 200,000 alumni, our partner network of 10,000 companies and our territorial coverage.
