How do you do it when you have a project in mind?
Once your idea is defined, we suggest the following three steps to move forward with your project and embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship.
Étape 1
Write down the first words that come to mind that are related to your project in the form of a list: prioritize, connect words, concepts, make links. Be spontaneous and don’t hesitate to use mindmapping and diagrams to classify your ideas.
Étape 2
Summarize your idea, your project in a few lines. Here, 3 essential questions:
- Why? Note the values, the cause that your company will defend, etc.
- How do you do it? The “how” refers to the means necessary to achieve your “why”, you can also define your differentiating factors here
- What? This question answers the characteristics of your offer.
Don’t forget to discuss your idea with the people around you, they will be your first sources of criticism or validation.
Étape 3
Do a self-assessment on your strengths, weaknesses and the strength of your motivation
Tips for getting started
Once the offer is defined, you have to set up your project. The objective is to formalize your idea. There is no golden rule, but we remind you here of the essentials: analyze your market, clarify and detail your offer, make your first budget forecast and classify your tasks.
Étape 1 : Analyser son marché
This step is essential, you must know all the particularities of the market in which you wish to evolve. This is an opportunity for you to study projects similar to yours, competitors, demand and offers identical to yours in the market, potential suppliers as well as opportunities and threats in the market. In order to analyze and have concrete data, we advise you to carry out surveys and qualitative investigations.
Étape 2 : Clarifier son offre
The objective of this step is to know if your product or service offer corresponds to the demands of your potential consumers. Potential consumers will need to understand the product or service, consider buying it, and be willing to share it with others.
Étape 3 : Réaliser son budget prévisionnel
Your budget is a real planning tool and allows you to take stock of your projected revenues and expenses.
Revenues are the items you have acquired, your resources and funding.
Expenses are everything you acquired in exchange for your resources.
Étape 4 : Planifier vos tâches avec une To-do List
At this stage, it is recommended that you make a list of tasks to be completed. These tasks will then need to be prioritized.
